I dug it. VERY nice atmospherics and cinematography. It just screams "Halloween" at you... and that's part of the problem for me; it's a little *too* on the those, too blatantly inspired by John Carpenter. If they had been a little more subtle about that influence, it would have been perfect. Still, a very good first short. I'll be interested to see the next few entries.

I liked it. The twist didn't exactly floor me but the atmosphere was fun.

I just realized I wrote "on the those" instead of "on the nose"... friggin typos. :P

Ditto. Loved it. Just what I needed for that Fall fix.

Saw the opener and immediately thought of you. Was a great throw back.

i guessed the twist right away. i guess it was pretty obvious (on purpose?) that she's the killer, especially with small amounts of blood on her shirt & not seeming to be injured, plus the old lure of a woman would have to be the victim & mot the killer. are the MM jumpsuit along with a few of his other traits (minus his signature walk) mixed with a cuter, softer Jason Voorhees mask homages? i guess he looks sorta spoofy on purpose, cause he's not the killer.

nice set...i think a lot of beautiful photo stills could come from this.<3

there's another short film on youtube from a few yrs back with the same story of a killer escapee who comes to a house where a young girl is babysitting & it does that whole killer swticharooni thingy.
